Cristina believes that what lies at the root of our struggles is an uncertainty in our sense of self and how we perceive our worth and value. Whether a result of a difficult childhood, traumatic experiences, or more recent events, our belief in ourselves and in our place in the world can often be impacted. If we can regain our sense of self, or even begin to define who we are for the first time, we then have a place to start living authentically. We may begin setting boundaries, speaking up, standing more confidently in our truth, or begin to feel okay with vulnerability.

 

Cristina supports MenzLeague in their pursuit of creating a platform that allows men to connect with a community that encourages their growth, vulnerability, and the authentic expression of their best selves in all areas of their life.

The strength of a relationship is directly proportional to the effort put into it. Just like anything in life, you get out what you put in.

Relationships come and go, and not every relationship is long lasting. That’s ok. We need to be mindful that everyone person we cross paths with matters. Whether we realize it or not, how we conduct ourselves daily forms the basis for all relationships in our environment. Our environment, then, gives us what we put in. If we can learn to focus more on honest, consistent, respectful communication, our relationships will reflect the same values.

Physical health is different for everyone. But what does it mean for you? Where do you want to start? 

Tyson believes that the mental health benefits of exercise are even more important than the physical changes we see. Tyson focuses his training on the combination of mobility and strength training, not only to change your physique but to keep your body healthy and mobile throughout your life.

Tyson’s mission as a coach is to keep you healthy, pain free, and prevent injuries while changing your physique and giving you the confidence you deserve.

Financial knowledge is not common. Some naturally grasp certain concepts, but for many, it is too complex to bother with. Many of us live pay-cheque to pay-cheque, we tread water and continue to make poor investments in our present at the cost of our future. Why? Because we don’t know any better. Because we haven’t acquired the right knowledge to understand the pros and cons of our decisions.

Dave believes the personal finance industry is ripe with stigmas; men feel like they have to know it all, they should know it all, and if they don’t - they are not smart.  That type of mentality leads men to make important financial decisions with only half of the knowledge they need.  Or, worse yet, they procrastinate and ignore those decisions altogether!
